Hoopers Hollow Park spans 30 acres in western Downers Grove and includes a 1.2-mile paved loop trail that connects to the Illinois Prairie Path. The trail surface accommodates jogging, cycling, and stroller use, while adjacent turf fields support scheduled youth baseball and adult softball leagues. A playground with modular climbing structures and swings sits near the parking lot, and two reservable picnic shelters with grills and restrooms serve group gatherings. Mature oak and hickory trees line the northern edge, providing shade over a series of small hills that slope toward St. Joseph Creek.
