Hoover Park spans 26 acres in western Schaumburg and includes four lighted tennis courts, two playgrounds, a sand volleyball court, and a full-size baseball field. A paved walking path encircles the park and connects to the 4.5-mile Salt Creek Greenway Trail, which runs north to Busse Woods. The park also features a large picnic shelter with electrical outlets, restrooms, and adjacent parking. Mature trees line the perimeter, providing shade over open lawns that slope gently toward the creek. The park sits less than a mile from Schaumburg’s main retail corridor along Roselle Road and is served by Pace bus route 554, which stops at the entrance. Nearby residents use the park for organized youth sports leagues, weekday dog walking, and weekend family gatherings.
