Hostert Log Cabins Park covers 40 acres of wooded terrain in southwest Orland Park. A 1.8-mile crushed-stone trail loops through stands of oak and hickory, connecting to the Old Plank Road Trail for longer bicycle or walking routes. Two fishing ponds are stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and a small boat launch allows non-motorized craft.
