Indian Trails Park, Homewood, IL

Indian Trails Park spans 53 acres in Homewood and features a 1.8-mile paved loop trail used by walkers, runners, and cyclists. The park includes four lighted tennis courts, two full-size basketball courts, a playground with adaptive equipment, and six reservable picnic shelters with grills. A 28-acre detention basin on the west side attracts waterfowl and supports seasonal fishing. The park is bordered by the Calumet Country Club golf course and lies within a half-mile of the Homewood Metra station, the public library, and the Izaak Walton Preserve. Restrooms and drinking fountains are located near the main parking lot off Riegel Road.
