Jaycee Park, Elk Grove Village, IL

Jaycee Park spans more than 20 acres along Elk Grove Village’s central greenway corridor. A paved multi-use trail crosses the park and connects directly to the 26-mile Salt Creek Trail, giving residents a continuous off-road route for walking, jogging, and cycling. The park contains two lighted baseball diamonds with spectator seating, a regulation-size soccer field, four lighted tennis courts, and a playground equipped with climbing structures and swings. A 1.8-acre retention pond is stocked annually for catch-and-release fishing and is ringed by a short walking path. Picnic shelters, restrooms, and drinking fountains are located near the parking areas. The park sits within a mile of the Elk Grove Village Public Library, the indoor Elk Grove Village Aquatic Center, and the daily Metra Milwaukee District/West Line service at the Elk Grove Village station.
