Kemmerling Park, Roselle, IL

Kemmerling Park sits at the center of Roselle and provides residents with direct access to more than 40 acres of maintained grounds. The park features lighted tennis and basketball courts, a fully equipped playground, and two regulation-size baseball diamonds that host local youth leagues. A 1.2-mile paved loop circles the perimeter and connects to the Springbrook Nature Center trail system, allowing runners and cyclists to extend their routes without leaving the village. Picnic shelters equipped with grills and restrooms accommodate group gatherings, while a nine-hole disc-golf course winds through mature oak stands on the west side. The park’s central location places it within a five-minute drive of the Metra Milwaukee District West line and Illinois Route 390, giving commuters quick access to downtown Chicago and O’Hare. Seasonal programming includes a farmers’ market on Saturday mornings and outdoor fitness classes on weekday evenings, both organized by the Roselle Park District.
