Kenloch Park, Libertyville, IL

Kenloch Park spans 52 acres in southwest Libertyville, with more than three miles of paved and natural-surface trails that connect to the Des Plaines River Trail. The park features two lighted baseball/softball fields, a football field, six lighted tennis courts, three basketball courts, and a playground with accessible equipment. A 30-acre wetland area and restored prairie provide year-round bird-watching opportunities and seasonal wildflowers. Picnic shelters, restrooms, and a 100-vehicle parking lot sit near the main entrance off Buckley Road. The park is less than two miles from downtown Libertyville’s Metra station, grocery stores, and restaurants, and adjacent to the Libertyville Sports Complex and Butler Lake, allowing residents to combine visits in a single outing.
