Kickapoo Meadows Forest Preserve, Dixmoor, IL

Kickapoo Meadows Forest Preserve occupies 133 acres along the Little Calumet River in Dixmoor, offering residents direct access to more than three miles of maintained trails for walking, running, and cycling. The preserve contains a fishing pond stocked by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and several picnic shelters available by reservation through the Forest Preserve District of Cook County.
