Kiwanis Park, located at 3315 N. Kilpatrick Avenue in Chicago’s Portage Park neighborhood, covers 10.4 acres and includes two lighted baseball fields, a soccer field, four tennis courts, and a playground with modern equipment. A 0.6-mile paved loop path circles the park, providing a flat, measured route for walking and jogging. Mature trees line the perimeter, offering shade along the trail and in the picnic areas equipped with tables and grills. Restrooms and drinking fountains are centrally located near the playground. The park sits two blocks east of the six-lane Irving Park Road commercial corridor, which contains grocery stores, restaurants, and the CTA Blue Line station at Irving Park, allowing residents to reach downtown Chicago in approximately twenty-five minutes by train. Adjacent residential streets are lined with single-family homes and two-flats built primarily between 1920 and 1940.
