Lakeview Estates South Park, Frankfort, IL

Lakeview Estates South Park occupies 18 acres of open space in Frankfort, Illinois, with two lighted baseball fields, a lighted soccer field, and four lighted tennis courts. A 1.2-mile paved loop trail circles the park perimeter, connecting to the Old Plank Road Trail and the 9.5-mile Hickory Creek Trail system. The park includes a 4,000-square-foot playground with separate equipment for ages 2–5 and 5–12, two shade structures, and six picnic tables with grills. A 2-acre retention pond with a fishing pier is stocked annually by the Frankfort Park District. The park sits adjacent to Lincoln-Way East High School and 0.7 miles from the Frankfort Square Library. Parking lots accommodate 120 vehicles, and restrooms are available from April through October.
