Levitt Park is a 20-acre public park located on the south side of Schaumburg, adjacent to the Schaumburg Golf Club and a short walk from the Spring Valley Nature Center. The park contains a 1.2-mile paved loop trail that connects to the larger Spring Valley trail system, which extends several miles through forest preserve land. Visitors have access to four lighted tennis courts, two lighted basketball courts, a playground with rubberized surfacing, and a large picnic shelter with restrooms and electrical outlets. The central feature is a 3.5-acre retention pond stocked for catch-and-release fishing and surrounded by a mowed grass shoreline. The park is bordered by single-family residential streets and receives daily use from local residents for walking, jogging, and casual sports. Schaumburg Township District Library and Woodfield Mall are each within a five-minute drive.
