Lincoln Woods, Naperville, IL

Lincoln Woods is a 44-acre park with a 1.3-mile paved loop trail that connects to the DuPage River Trail, allowing residents to reach downtown Naperville or the I-88 corridor without driving. The park features two baseball diamonds, two lighted tennis courts, a playground with rubberized surfacing, and a picnic shelter with adjacent parking. A small pond supports seasonal fishing under Illinois Department of Natural Resources regulations, and the surrounding oak-hickory woodland provides consistent tree canopy along most of the trail. The entrance at 1200 W. Bauer Road sits less than two miles from the Naperville Public Library’s 95th Street branch and the Springbrook Golf Course, while Route 59 and Ogden Avenue are each reachable in under five minutes by car. Regular mowing and City of Naperville maintenance keep the grounds open year-round for walking, jogging, and casual sports.
