Long Run Creek Park, Orland Park, IL

Long Run Creek Park covers 140 acres in Orland Park, with a 1.5-mile paved trail that loops around a central lake and connects to the regional Old Plank Road Trail. The park includes two playgrounds, two baseball fields, four tennis courts, two basketball courts, and a disc golf course. A 3,000-square-foot shelter with restrooms and picnic tables sits near the parking lot, and additional benches and drinking fountains line the trail. The lake supports catch-and-release fishing, and the surrounding open space and scattered trees provide clear sightlines across the grounds. The park is located at 11000 block of 159th Street, roughly one mile west of LaGrange Road and adjacent to the Orland Park Sportsplex, giving residents direct access to both active recreation and nearby retail corridors along 159th Street.
