Marie Ulhorn/President's Park sits at the center of Glen Ellyn’s residential north side, offering residents direct access to more than 20 acres of open space. A 0.8-mile crushed-limestone loop circles the park’s perimeter, connecting to the Illinois Prairie Path just two blocks south and providing a continuous route for walking, jogging, and cycling that extends into neighboring communities. Two lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, and a fenced playground with rubber safety surfacing are grouped near the parking lot on Fairview Avenue, while a separate picnic grove with grills and tables sits under mature oak trees along the eastern edge. A small fishing pond stocked annually by the Park District is reachable by a short boardwalk, and adjacent wetlands draw migrating birds that can be viewed from an observation deck.
