Maryknoll Park, Glen Ellyn, IL

Maryknoll Park covers 53 acres in central Glen Ellyn and includes a nine-hole golf course, an aquatic center with a zero-depth entry pool, and four lighted tennis courts. A 1.2-mile paved loop trail encircles the park and connects to the Illinois Prairie Path, allowing residents to reach downtown Glen Ellyn on foot or by bicycle in roughly fifteen minutes. The park also contains two playgrounds, a sledding hill, and multiple baseball and soccer fields maintained by the Glen Ellyn Park District. Mature oak and hickory trees line the fairways and border the open meadows, providing shade and seasonal color. The DuPage County Forest Preserve’s Churchill Woods lies directly east of the park, extending continuous green space beyond its eastern boundary. Commuters can reach the Glen Ellyn Metra station in under ten minutes by car, and the park is less than two miles from both I-355 and I-88, giving quick access to employment centers in Naperville and the Schaumburg corridor.
