Meadow Park occupies 34 acres at the intersection of Gannon Drive and Moon Lake Drive in Hoffman Estates. The park contains four lighted tennis courts, two full-size baseball diamonds, and a playground with modern equipment. A 1.2-mile asphalt trail loops around the park’s perimeter, connecting to the larger Poplar Creek Trail system that extends to the Schaumburg area. The northern edge borders a 12-acre retention pond stocked for catch-and-release fishing, while the southern side features a restored tallgrass prairie section maintained by the Park District. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and shaded picnic shelters are located near the parking area off Gannon Drive. The park sits less than two miles from the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90) and within three miles of the Hoffman Estates Metra station on the Milwaukee District-West line, giving residents direct access to both downtown Chicago and O’Hare International Airport.
