The park contains a 1.2-mile paved loop trail that connects to the Des Plaines River Trail, providing continuous paved access for bicyclists and runners. A 9-hole disc golf course is located on the east side of the property. The park borders the Des Plaines River, with several observation points overlooking the waterway and adjacent floodplain forest. Picnic shelters and restrooms are available near the main parking area. North Park is located 0.6 miles from downtown Lincolnshire along Route 22 and is 1.5 miles from both the Metra Milwaukee District North Line station in Deerfield and the I-94 corridor. The park is open daily from 6:30 a.m. to sunset.
