Northeast Park, Park Ridge, IL

Northeast Park spans 55 acres in Park Ridge and includes two lighted baseball/softball fields, four tennis courts, two playgrounds, and a 1.1-mile paved loop trail that circles the perimeter. The park also features a picnic grove with grills, a shelter, and restrooms, as well as an open field used for soccer and informal sports. The trail connects directly to the city’s larger network of bike paths, providing a continuous route toward downtown Park Ridge and the Metra Union Pacific Northwest Line station three-quarters of a mile away. Mature trees line the edges of the grounds, offering shade along the walking path and around the play areas. The park is bordered by residential streets on three sides and Touhy Avenue on the fourth, allowing quick access to nearby grocery stores, restaurants, and the Park Ridge Public Library within a ten-minute walk.
