Orland Woods Park, Orland Park, IL

Orland Woods Park covers 40 acres at 9950 Park Drive and includes two lighted baseball fields, four lighted tennis courts, a basketball court, and a playground with modern equipment. A 1.3-mile paved trail loops through the grounds, connecting to the larger Orland Park trail system and providing direct access to the nearby Orland Park Sportsplex. The park is bordered by mature oak and hickory trees that create shaded areas along the trail and around the open turf fields. A picnic shelter with restrooms and drinking fountains sits near the main parking lot, which is also served by Pace bus route 832. The park’s location, one mile east of LaGrange Road and two miles west of I-80, places it within a short drive of the Orland Square Mall and the Metra Rock Island District line at 143rd Street.
