Pebble Park, Hoffman Estates, IL

Pebble Park sits along the north edge of Hoffman Estates, covering roughly 68 acres of rolling terrain anchored by a large retention pond. A 1.2-mile crushed-granite loop circles the water and links to the Poplar Creek Trail, allowing residents to reach the 8.2-mile regional path system without crossing major roads. Two playgrounds, one designed for ages two to five and the other for five to twelve, sit near the parking lot on Moon Lake Drive, while six lighted tennis courts and two pickleball courts occupy the west side. A reservable shelter with restrooms and electrical outlets overlooks the pond, and an adjacent 18-hole disc-golf course winds through stands of oak and hickory. Fishing is permitted from designated shoreline stations, and winter access includes a plowed path for cross-country skiing. The park borders the Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center, placing an aquatic complex and fitness floor within a five-minute walk for residents on Moon Lake Drive or Whispering Oaks Lane.
