Pine Park occupies 18 acres in Hoffman Estates and includes a 2.3-mile paved loop trail that connects directly to the larger Poplar Creek Trail system. The park features two full-size baseball diamonds with lighting, four tennis courts, two playgrounds with rubberized surfacing, and a 2-acre dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. A central picnic grove with permanent grills and shade structures sits near a 3-acre retention pond that attracts seasonal waterfowl. The park is bordered by native prairie plantings and mature oak trees that provide partial shade along the trail. It lies within a quarter-mile of the Hoffman Estates Public Library, the Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center, and the entrance to the Sears Centre Arena, and is served by Pace bus routes 603 and 606 along Higgins Road.
