Pines Park, Bensenville, IL

Pines Park sits at the center of Bensenville’s west side, covering 28 acres of level ground bordered by mature white and red pines. A 1.2-mile crushed-limestone loop trail circles the park and connects directly to the 5.5-mile Salt Creek Trail, allowing residents to walk or bike to Red Oak Nature Center and the Illinois Prairie Path without crossing major roads. The park’s three lighted tennis courts and four pickleball courts remain open until 10 p.m., while two full-size baseball fields and a lighted soccer field serve both youth leagues and adult evening games. A fenced playground with poured-in-place surfacing and separate toddler area sits adjacent to a shaded picnic grove equipped with grills and restrooms.
