Pioneer Park covers 45 acres in Broadview and features a 1.2-mile paved walking loop that circles the park’s central pond. Residents can access lighted tennis courts, a playground with separate toddler and school-age zones, and two full-size baseball fields used by the Broadview Youth Baseball League. The park also includes a picnic grove with six grills and two reservable shelters that accommodate up to 50 people each. Mature trees line the walking loop and provide shade over the playground and picnic areas. The park sits two blocks south of Broadview’s commercial corridor on 17th Street, allowing residents to walk or bike to the Metra Union Pacific West line station and to several grocery stores and restaurants along Roosevelt Road.
