Playhaven Park spans 22 acres in central Broadview and includes a lighted baseball diamond, two full-size soccer fields, and four lighted tennis courts. A 1.2-mile paved loop trail circles the park, connecting to the 8-mile Salt Creek Trail that extends east to the Des Plaines River. The park also features a playground with rubberized surfacing, a spray pad, and two picnic shelters with grills and restrooms. Mature trees line the perimeter, providing shade over benches and open lawns. The main parking lot holds 120 vehicles and is accessed from 17th Avenue, one block north of Roosevelt Road. Residents can reach the park on foot via sidewalks on 17th and 16th Avenues. The Proviso Township Forest Preserve District maintains the grounds and schedules youth sports leagues through its recreation department.
