Pohatan Park, Skokie, IL

Pohatan Park covers 10 acres at the intersection of East Prairie Road and Keeney Street. The park features a 0.6-mile paved loop trail that connects to the nearby North Shore Channel Trail, allowing residents extended walking and biking routes. The playground includes modern climbing structures and swings designed for ages two through twelve. Two full-size tennis courts with night lighting sit adjacent to a baseball diamond equipped with dugouts and bleachers. A picnic shelter with tables and grills is available for reservation through the Skokie Park District. Mature trees line the southern edge, providing shade over open lawn space used for informal field sports.
