Pottawattomie Park, Tinley Park, IL

Pottawattomie Park sits on 40 acres in Tinley Park and includes a 1.2-mile paved loop trail that connects to the village’s larger network of paths. The park features a 12-acre lake stocked for fishing, two playgrounds with equipment for different age groups, six lighted tennis courts, two sand volleyball courts, and three baseball/softball diamonds. A 10,000-square-foot community center houses a fitness room, gymnasium, and indoor track. Picnic shelters and open green space border the lake, and a small dog park is located near the south entrance. The park is adjacent to Tinley Park High School and less than a mile from the downtown Metra station, placing it within walking distance of the library and local shops.
