Richard Taylor Park & Skate Park spans 44 acres in Lake in the Hills, offering residents a 1.8-mile paved loop trail suitable for walking, running, and biking. The park includes a 7,000-square-foot concrete skate plaza with multiple ramps and rails, a playground with climbing structures, and three baseball/softball fields with dugouts and bleachers. A 3-acre pond provides fishing access and habitat for waterfowl. The park connects to the 8-mile Longmeadow Parkway Trail, which extends east toward Crystal Lake.
