Ron Beese Park covers 67 acres in Barrington and includes a 1.2-mile paved trail that loops around open fields and a central pond. The trail connects to the regional Cuba Marsh Trail, allowing residents to reach other preserves without driving. Ball fields, tennis courts, a playground, and two picnic shelters with restrooms support organized sports and family gatherings. A fishing pier extends over the pond, which is stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The park’s flat terrain and wide paths accommodate strollers and mobility devices, while mature trees along the perimeter provide shade during summer months. Street parking is available on the west side, and the park entrance sits less than a mile from downtown Barrington’s shops and the Metra station via local roads.
