Roosevelt & Hazelton Park, Wheaton, IL

Roosevelt & Hazelton Park spans 37 acres in central Wheaton and includes two lighted baseball diamonds, a football field, and a playground with updated safety surfacing. A 1.2-mile paved loop trail circles the park perimeter, connecting to the Illinois Prairie Path for extended walking or cycling routes. Mature oak and maple trees provide shade along the trail and around the perimeter picnic shelter, which is available for reservation. The park is adjacent to Wheaton Public Library and two blocks from downtown shops and restaurants, allowing residents to combine outdoor activities with errands on foot. Restrooms and drinking fountains are located near the main parking lot, and the park is served by Pace bus routes 715 and 722.
