Schraeder Park covers 27 acres at the intersection of Boughton Road and Schmidt Road in Bolingbrook. A paved loop trail circles the park perimeter, connecting to the village’s broader 60-mile trail network and providing direct access for residents who want to walk, run, or bike without driving. The park includes two lighted baseball/softball fields, a soccer field, four lighted tennis courts, a playground, and two picnic shelters with grills. An on-site parking lot holds roughly 150 vehicles, and restrooms are open seasonally. The terrain is mostly flat with scattered mature trees, offering open sight lines and consistent shade along the trail. The park sits less than two miles from the Promenade Bolingbrook retail center and Interstate 355, so daily errands and regional travel are short drives from surrounding neighborhoods.
