Singing Hills Forest Preserve in Lakemoor spans 282 acres and includes more than four miles of multi-use trails suitable for hiking, running, and cross-country skiing. The preserve features gently rolling terrain, native prairie, and wooded areas that provide seasonal color changes. A 0.6-mile paved loop near the entrance accommodates strollers and wheelchairs. Picnic shelters, restrooms, and drinking fountains are available near the main parking area on Wilson Road. The site is located less than two miles from the Route 12 retail corridor, which includes grocery stores, restaurants, and pharmacies. It is also adjacent to the Grant Woods Forest Preserve, allowing longer outings on connected trail segments.
