Spring Lake Forest Preserve in Barrington, Illinois, spans 228 acres with a 66-acre lake that supports non-motorized boating and fishing. A 2.5-mile crushed-limestone trail loops the shoreline, connecting to the 7.2-mile Old Northwest Highway Trail that links to downtown Barrington.
