Stevens Park, Burr Ridge, IL

Stevens Park spans 30 acres in central Burr Ridge and features a 1.8-mile paved loop trail that connects directly to the village’s 4-mile trail system. The park’s two lighted tennis courts, baseball and soccer fields, and playground with rubberized surfacing are maintained by the Burr Ridge Park District. A fishing pond stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources sits at the northern edge, bordered by a boardwalk and benches. Mature oak and maple groves provide shade over picnic shelters and an open-air gazebo used for seasonal outdoor fitness classes. The park is adjacent to the 22-acre Waterfall Glen Forest Preserve, allowing residents to extend walks or bike rides onto additional crushed-limestone paths without leaving the immediate area. Street access from County Line Road and nearby I-55 provides a short drive to downtown Hinsdale’s Metra station and the Burr Ridge Village Center shops.
