Sunset Park in Bolingbrook features 22 acres of maintained grounds that include a 1.2-mile paved walking loop around a central pond. The park contains four lighted tennis courts, two playgrounds with rubber surfacing, and a 7,200-square-foot recreation building that houses restrooms, a concession stand, and meeting rooms. A fishing pier extends over the pond, and the grounds include three picnic shelters with grills. The park connects directly to the DuPage River Trail, allowing residents to reach the 9-mile paved corridor that runs along the river corridor. The park sits within a 10-minute drive of the Promenade Bolingbrook shopping center and the Edward Hospital campus, and it is adjacent to the Bolingbrook Golf Club. Sunset Park is open daily from 6 a.m. to 11 p.m. and is maintained by the Bolingbrook Park District.
