Tampier-McGinnis Park occupies 115 acres in southwest Orland Park and provides direct access from nearby residential subdivisions. A 2.8-mile paved loop trail accommodates walking, jogging, and cycling while remaining separate from roadway traffic. The park’s central fishing lake is stocked annually and includes a 200-foot fishing pier and adjacent shoreline access. Two playground structures, a sand volleyball court, and four baseball/softball diamonds with bleachers and dugouts serve organized youth leagues. A reservable picnic shelter and adjacent restrooms support group gatherings. The site also features a dog-friendly area with separate small- and large-breed sections and a designated parking lot.
