The Forest Park, Bolingbrook, IL

The Forest Park in Bolingbrook covers 278 acres of open space along the DuPage River, with a 3.2-mile paved trail that connects to the Centennial Trail system. The park includes two playgrounds, a splash pad, six lighted tennis courts, four pickleball courts, and two sand volleyball courts. A 40-acre off-leash dog area has separate sections for large and small dogs, along with water stations and shaded benches. Fishing is permitted at the park’s two ponds, which are stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. The site also contains three picnic shelters with electricity, two baseball fields, and a 9-hole disc golf course. Adjacent to the park is the Bolingbrook Golf Club and the Bolingbrook Recreation and Aquatic Center, both within a five-minute drive. The park is located two miles from Interstate 55, providing direct access to downtown Chicago in approximately 30 minutes by car.
