Timberline Park, Lemont, IL

Timberline Park in Lemont, IL covers 60 acres and features 2.3 miles of paved trails that connect to the Centennial Trail system. The park includes a 12-acre fishing pond stocked with bass, bluegill, and catfish, plus a separate catch-and-release trout area. Visitors can use the boat launch for non-motorized watercraft and access two fishing piers. The park has two playgrounds, a splash pad, four baseball fields, and a 1.5-acre dog park with separate areas for small and large dogs. Picnic shelters accommodate groups up to 75 people, and the park includes a sledding hill with a 40-foot vertical drop. Timberline Park sits less than one mile from downtown Lemont and is adjacent to the Metra BNSF line, providing direct access to Union Station in Chicago. The park also contains restored prairie areas and a butterfly garden maintained by the Lemont Park District.
