Tinley Gardens Park spans 23 acres in central Tinley Park and features two lighted baseball diamonds, two soccer fields, a playground with rubber surfacing, and a 0.8-mile paved loop trail that circles the perimeter. The park also includes six lighted tennis courts, two sand volleyball courts, and a picnic shelter with grills and electrical outlets. Mature trees line the trail and provide shade over the open lawns, while a small pond at the southeast corner attracts waterfowl. The park sits within a quarter-mile of the Tinley Park Metra station and is adjacent to the 23-mile Old Plank Road Trail, allowing residents to reach the downtown business district or connect to regional bike routes on foot or by bicycle. Restrooms and drinking fountains are available near the parking lot, which holds roughly 120 vehicles.
