Tomahawk Trail Park sits in the northwest section of Round Lake Heights and is one of the larger public green spaces in the village. The 28-acre park features a 1.2-mile paved loop trail that connects directly to the Lake County Forest Preserve trail system, allowing residents to extend their walks or bike rides into adjacent natural areas. The trail passes two playgrounds, one with adaptive equipment, and a lighted baseball diamond used by the local Little League. A shaded picnic shelter and restrooms are available near the main parking lot.
