Trail Tree Park spans 28 acres in north Deerfield and centers on a preserved 300-year-old oak tree that gives the park its name. A 1.1-mile paved loop trail circles the site, connecting two playgrounds, a lighted baseball field, two tennis courts, and a picnic shelter with restrooms. The park’s open meadows and scattered groves of mature trees create clear sightlines from surrounding streets, making it a convenient walking or biking destination for nearby residents. A small parking lot on the east side provides direct access to the trail and ball field, while a separate entrance on the west side leads to the playgrounds. The park is bordered on three sides by quiet residential streets and sits two blocks from Deerfield’s downtown shops and Metra station, allowing residents to combine park visits with errands or commuting without driving.
