Twin Lakes Park spans 75 acres at 1200 N. Villa Avenue and includes two large lakes, a nine-hole golf course, and a driving range. A 2.8-mile paved trail loops around the water and connects to the Illinois Prairie Path, allowing residents to walk, jog, or cycle without leaving the neighborhood. Two playgrounds, six tennis courts, a sand volleyball court, and a disc golf course provide additional activity options. The park also contains a banquet hall and meeting rooms that are rented for private events. Fishing piers are available on both lakes, and the park district stocks rainbow trout each spring. Mature trees line most of the shoreline, offering shade and a buffer between the park and adjacent residential streets. The park sits less than one mile from the Metra Union Pacific/West Line station and is bordered by the Villa Park Public Library and the main branch of the park district’s recreation center, placing routine errands and organized programs within walking distance for many households.
