Valley Forge Park in Lisle covers 80 acres and includes three baseball fields, two soccer fields, a playground, and a 1.3-mile paved loop trail used for walking, running, and cycling. The park’s open fields and scattered mature trees provide unobstructed sight lines and shade along the trail. A central parking lot with more than 100 spaces connects directly to the athletic fields and to the DuPage River Trail, which continues west to the Morton Arboretum and east toward downtown Lisle. Restrooms, drinking fountains, and picnic shelters are located near the playground. The park sits two miles from the Lisle Metra station and is bordered on the north by IL Route 53, giving residents quick access to I-88 and I-355. During summer months the fields host youth baseball and adult softball leagues, while the trail sees steady use by commuters and recreational cyclists throughout the year.
