Veteran's Memorial Park occupies 14 acres at the corner of 31st Street and Prairie Avenue, a short walk from the Grand Boulevard Metra station and the Brookfield Zoo. The park's paved loop trail measures just over one-half mile and connects to the Salt Creek Trail, allowing residents to extend walks or bike rides into the adjacent forest preserve.
