Warwick Park, Lake Zurich, IL

Warwick Park in Lake Zurich covers 48 acres and features a 2.5-mile paved trail that loops around the park and connects to the Lake Zurich Lakefront Trail. The trail passes a large playground, two lighted baseball fields, four tennis courts, and a basketball court, all maintained by the Lake Zurich Park District. A fishing pier extends into the park’s central pond, which is stocked annually by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources. Picnic shelters with grills are scattered along the shoreline, and an adjacent dog park provides separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. The park sits less than one mile from downtown Lake Zurich, where residents can reach grocery stores, restaurants, and the Metra Union Pacific Northwest line station by car or bicycle. Mature trees line the perimeter, offering shade along the trail and screening views of surrounding residential streets.
