Wheeler Park, Geneva, IL

Wheeler Park spans 16 acres in central Geneva and includes a playground, lighted baseball diamond, tennis courts, and a skate park. A paved loop trail connects these facilities and links to the Fox River Trail, which runs along the river for several miles. The park also contains two picnic shelters with adjacent grills and restrooms. Mature trees provide shade over open lawns and along the riverbank, where a fishing overlook has been installed. Restrooms and drinking fountains are located near the parking area on East Side Drive. Geneva Public Library and the downtown business district are within a short walk, and the park is adjacent to both Geneva High School and the Metra station, allowing residents to reach Chicago by rail in under an hour.
