Wildwood Park, New Lenox, IL

Wildwood Park occupies 110 acres in New Lenox and provides residents with direct access to paved walking and biking paths that connect to the Old Plank Road Trail, a 22-mile regional route. The park includes two lighted baseball diamonds, four tennis courts, a disc golf course, and a playground with equipment for ages two through twelve. A 14-acre fishing lake stocked by the Illinois Department of Natural Resources offers shoreline access and a small boat launch for non-motorized craft. Picnic shelters, restrooms, and parking are located near the main entrance on Delaney Road, less than a quarter mile from U.S. Route 30 and the Metra Rock Island District station.
