Willow Stream Park, Buffalo Grove, IL

Willow Stream Park spans 60 acres in Buffalo Grove and includes three baseball/softball fields, four soccer fields, two basketball courts, and two tennis courts. The park also provides a 0.75-mile paved loop trail suitable for walking, jogging, and cycling. A large playground area features separate equipment for ages 2–5 and 5–12, along with two sand volleyball courts and two picnic shelters equipped with grills and tables. Willow Stream Lake, a 6-acre body of water, supports catch-and-release fishing and offers an adjacent boardwalk with benches. The park is bordered by the Des Plaines River Trail, which connects to a regional network of 30 miles of paved trails. Public restrooms and a 120-space parking lot are located on site. The park sits less than one mile from the Buffalo Grove Metra station and is adjacent to multiple retail centers along Route 83.
