Wind Haven Park, Orland Park, IL

Wind Haven Park spans 92 acres in Orland Park and features a 2.4-mile paved trail that loops around open fields, wetlands, and a central pond. The trail connects to the Old Plank Road Trail, allowing residents to reach nearby neighborhoods and retail centers without driving. Picnic shelters, a playground, and restrooms are clustered near the main parking area, while fishing docks and observation decks overlook the water. The park also includes a dog-friendly area and an 18-hole disc golf course. Seasonal programs such as guided nature walks and outdoor fitness classes are scheduled through the Orland Park Recreation Department.
