Winrock Park covers 27 acres along the Fox River and includes two ball fields, a playground, and a picnic shelter with grills. A paved trail runs the length of the park and connects to the larger Oswegoland Park District path system, which extends several miles north and south. Two fishing piers overlook the river, and a canoe/kayak launch provides direct water access. Mature trees shade much of the open space, and the park’s river frontage offers views of the water and adjacent wooded banks. The park lies less than two miles from downtown Oswego, where residents can reach grocery stores, restaurants, and the public library by car or by continuing on the trail network. Parking lots at both entrances accommodate vehicles and provide easy entry points for daily walks or weekend outings.
