On two pristine parcels of land in Anastasia Island's most exclusive Ocean Front neighborhood stand a home. Not an ordinary home by any means but a veritable fortress made of solid concrete, brick and mortar. Months and years in the planning with travels far and wide seeking only the most perfect appointments and quality materials. Alas, Beach Notes was born. And so the story begins. The beach mice scurried as the land was cleared for this massive home of over 5700 square feet. The concrete was poured and the mission began. There were three seim-trucks on the way from Winthrop, Washington full of shingles for this multimillion dollar home. Over 70,000 bricks arrived from Sanford North Carolina, purchased from a furniture factory that had been demolished and now used in the trim, garage floor, walkways, and the decking surrounding the massive swimming pool and spa, one of the focal points of the home.
